1 week down!!! WEEEPPPPAAA

Que lo Que my  peeps!!

I am loving being a missionary.. it is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things. I have now been here in the CCM for a week and 1 day and it has been an adventure. In two weeks I will be in Puerto Rico!! Crazy right? 18 MORE MONTHS OF NO SLEEP LEFT!

Okay so facts my companion is seriously so awesome and I love her to bits. She is from Willard, Utah and an only child so we get each other. She can play literally any sport, so spiritual, funny, she's going to  Santiago( Dominican Republic), her Spanish is perfect (her dad is Salvadorian and her mom is Mexican, compliments everyone, hard working and pushes me to be better. We make a perfect match...also I am so much more athletic thanks to her.

My teachers here are the greatest I love all of them and they think I'm super cray and say i'm 100% Dominican hah no idea why cause I am so shy.. right?
Also Jake Thaler shout out to you cause teachers know you and all say you were great but super shy!

They feed you by the tons here!!! Like seriously so so so so much food. I'm not the biggest fan of the food though, some days are better than others! Fruit though is SO FANTASTIC HERE and the whole Celiac keeps me away from the bad stuff. I was scared I would gain weight here but I am actually loosing weight like wild fire. Think is a mixture of diet, having a schedule, not being able to eat desserts, sweating like a pig as soon as I walk out the door and all the exercise (I am going to be a baller like Jimmer by the time  I leave the CCM). My thumb is messed up thanks to that athletic life but no pain no gain.

It is very hot here but very beautiful I love it. Shade is nice and cool when you step outside..We did service at the park this week and it looked like I showered in my clothes from all the sweat.

I have memorized The First Vision, Our purpose as missionaries,  baptismal invitation, the them here and a few scriptures all in Spanish!! So yeah high five to me.. I am proud even if my eye has been twitching lately from all the reading. It's very spiritual here, sorta like 24/7 seminary. I love it actually because I feel so in tune with the spirit 24/7. I have taught 3 investigators and I actually do okay. So I am in the 3 week Spanish district which is only me my comp and Elder Aragon from Honduras who speaks no english. So everyone are in classes together learning the language and all that fun stuff and my district just studies straight doctrine... no complains though cause I am love just learning how to teach and more about my Savior.

Elder Zivic who is a General authority and his wife came and spoke with us! They are from Argentina and just WOW. They gave us lots of counsel and advice on how to be better missionaries and my mind was blown but something Elder Zivic said really stuck to me and it is that " You have agency and chose to be here. So do your mission right!". I chose to be here.. hear that in my head all day now. I want nothing but to be a tool in the lords hand and give this my all. Missionary work is not easy, no one bit but the worth of every person I teach and help bring on the right path is so grand in my Heavenly Fathers eyes that it is all worth it. I will not be like Saul's wife... no looking back. I will be a pro-active missionary even if it takes my all. You guys also have agency so choose every day to do what is right and always look for missionary experiences.. you never know who might need you.

ELDER MARTINEZ IS IN THE HOUSE FOLKS!! HAHA so yup Ethan is here in the CCM with me. He is friend from back the in that Orem life. We went to the same ward and lived in the same apartment building. I knew we would be here together (was there when he opened his call)  but didn't think  we would see each other so much. I love having him here though, it's nice having a friendly and someone you can say hi to with a smile knowing they got your back. It has been a blessing in disguise having him here. haha there's been many times where we almost hug but quickly remember we are not about that life anymore.Enjoy the pictures of us  cause I bet President wouldn't haha jk we are very casual and sometimes even act like strangers.

Any who love you all.. letters and emails are welcomed. Also I love getting responses but for some reason is all became a chain last time so go ahead and email me individually.
